Brit bolsters Birmingham office
International general insurance and reinsurance group Brit Insurance has announced the appointment of Denon Ambris as liability underwriter in the firm’s Birmingham office.
He joins Brit from Chubb Insurance, leaving behind his former post as European Sales Training adviser providing training throughout the firm’s European branch network.
Earlier in his career Ambris spent over two decades as an underwriter with Chubb and ACE as a specialist in liability.
Ambris assumes his new position with immediate effect and is directly responsible to Rosie O’Gara, Central and South West regional manager.
In his new post he will be responsible for underwriting Primary and Excess Standalone Liability business and collaborating with brokers throughout the region.
O’Gara praised Ambris’ experience and strong technical expertise, adding that he would prove a valuable asset as Brit seeks to build its presence in the region.
