IFB appoints new head of analytics

The Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) has appointed a new head of analytics, a post previously held by Jacky Cattin.

In his new role, Kevin Reid will be responsible for optimising the IFB systems capability in both the immediate and longer term, with the aim of enhancing the services offered by the Bureau.

Mr Reid’s background includes police service, forensic computer investigations, and an operational director role for a company providing specialist fraud services to insurers.

Commenting on his appointment, he says: “The IFB has enormous potential to further disrupt criminal activity within the insurance sector and it’s an exciting prospect to be part of the team and to support our members going forward.”
