Exeter Friendly widens underwriting options

| July 5, 2010 | 0 Comments

Exeter Friendly, the private medical insurer, has broadened the underwriting options available for both its Health Cover for Me and Health & Stuff plans.

The enhanced option range, adding to a full medical underwriting option, includes a new fixed 2 year moratorium whereby pre-existing conditions are automatically covered after a 2 year period.

Clients who switch from others providers can also take advantage of a continued personal medical exclusions (CPME).

Head of Intermediary Sales Mike O’Brien explained that Exeter Friendly preferred simple options, adding that customers must be able to not only choose the right option but to clearly understand what they are and are not covered against.

O’Brien went on to stress the collaborative approach the insurer adopted with advisers, and said that the firm was pleased with the reaction received thus far.
