Bupa International has collaborated with Joint Commission International (JCI) to provide a quality assurance programme for its 7,500 recognised providers around the world.

Developed with the clinical excellence of Bupa and the consultancy expertise of JCI and based on international standards, each hospital will receive a set of assessment tools to examine medical facilities and clinical quality.

This will provide Bupa with detailed information regarding each hospital it works with, enhancing customer service and patient care.

Bupa International Medical Director Dr Sneh Khemka has expressed excitement at the collaboration with JCI, which will be of great benefit to the firm’s customers, not least those who need direct medical evacuations and can be swiftly sent to the best facility.

JCI International Services Executive Director Sherry Kaufield has stated that Bupa and JCI share a deep-seated commitment to the health of patients, adding that JCI anticipated a long-term collaborative relationship with Bupa.

Earlier this year Bupa International was named Best International Healthcare Provider by readers of Investment International, in recognition of its professionalism and experience.
