Bluefin to open Cardiff office

| July 5, 2010 | 0 Comments

Bluefin is opening a new office in Cardiff and has appointed Ian Sandham branch director, in addition to his current Bristol-based role.

Richard Brice has joined as senior account executive and further appointments are expected in the near future.

The new site is big enough to accommodate Bluefin’s sister company, Bluefin Advisory Services, which will relocate from its existing Cardiff office.

Chief executive officer, Stuart Reid, says the move will strengthen the firm’s geographical footprint in the south west.

Bluefin has also recently announced that it is acquiring St Albans-based Gilbert Business Insurance Brokers, as part of an ambitious acquisition programme that spans the next three years.

The AXA-owned broker already has over 50 branches and is keen to expand in a number of regions, including the South West, Wales, the East Midlands and Northern Scotland.
