Evolution and Cardinus launch SME promotion

Commercial specialist, Evolution Underwriting Group, is sweetening up its brokers and policyholders with a deal on a range of online products from Cardinus Risk Management.

All Evolution policyholders are being offered a free £100 initial purchase on a number of services that can be purchased at a co-branded version of Cardinus’s SME portal.

Evolution’s 300 brokers will receive a similar voucher to the value of £500, and registering the vouchers gives all customers access to a risk management library that is updated throughout the year.

The firm’s spokesman, Paul Upton, comments: “We have looked at a number of partnership style arrangements over the years and have not been able to find one that is truly differentiated and aimed squarely at our SME client base.”

He adds: “Now through our risk services company we are delighted to be able to bring our loyal brokers and policyholders something which they cannot get elsewhere.”

Cardinus chief executive officer, Andy Hawkes, adds: “Our traditional focus has been to deliver solutions to large corporates but we have now developed our SME proposition and see the tie up with Evolution as a perfect partnership.”

Last week, Evolution launched Trade Protector Plus, a tradesman liability product underwritten by Groupama.
