XL Insurance has announced that it has launched a new claims defensibility advice service, named ExClaim!

Companies utilising ExClaim! will be provided with liability risks management and a robust claims management process, backed up with a team of in-house professionals and external specialists offering advice and support for all pre- and post-incident risk management and claims defensibility disciplines.

The four areas focused upon are risk mitigation, legal advisory, claims process management and employee rehabilitation.

A free initial review will be given to UK casualty clients in any one (or all) of the four key areas listed above, with additional services available at preferential rates.

XL Insurance Underwriting Manager, UK Primary Casualty, Stuart Sutherland explained that British firms are facing an ever more litigious environment and need to take measures to help mitigate risk and protect themselves.

Sutherland added that an efficient and effective process could help cut costs and the timescale of reaching settlements.
