Hughes Insurance, one of Northern Ireland’s leading brokers, has extended its relationship with Open GI.

The four-year deal involves solutions that will drive up productivity across the company’s 200 plus staff and automate many routine processes.

The move forms part of a long-term growth strategy with a focus on e-commerce and SME business that will be supported by Open GI’s Open Trader platform.

The firm’s chief executive officer, Gareth Brady, says: “At Hughes our aim is to offer great products at competitive prices.”

He adds: “To do this we need to keep our running costs as low as possible which is why we are also looking at Open GI’s productivity solutions.”

Open GI sales & marketing director, Simon Hughes, describes the broker as “a highly ambitious, technology driven company”.

Hughes recently reported 100% growth in commercial new business, which it attributed to a straight forward, no nonsense approach that delivers the most comprehensive cover, as cost effectively as possible.
