Leeds-based Henderson Insurance has continued apace with its rapid expansion, with a dozen new appointments in a six week period.

Chief Executive Joe Henderson explained that the 12 new positions were all additional roles, not replacements of outgoing staff.

Brian Tourle leaves behind Coface to join as associate director of the Surety Division in London, which specialises in construction industry and professional indemnity insurance.

Chris Thompson joins the firm’s Leeds office and becomes part of the Corporate Division, having previously served as a board director with Weller Russell & Laws in Peterborough.

The Newcastle office is bolstered by the addition of Giles White as a commercial broker, and a quartet (Jamie Rhodes, Tracey Owen, Laura Youds and Kirsty Spencer) join the Tingley office.

The Kirmington office is joined by the new claims executive, Paul Taylor and by trainee broker Jodie Wiseman.

Caroline Thompkins joins the Stockton office as receptionist/administrator.
