Two UK brokers join Assurex network
Assurex Global, the independent insurance broker network, has added two new members in the UK.
Liverpool-based Griffiths & Armour and London-based Miller Insurance Services are accompanied by Associated Insurance Consultants of the United Arab Emirates.
The three join the 103 independent brokers around the globe that have been selected by Assurex Global on the basis of their capability, integrity, growth potential and quality and breadth of services.
Assurex global president and chief executive officer, Jim Hackbarth, says: “Individuals seeing the Assurex Global logo can be confident that they’re working with the very best professionals in the industry.”
Griffiths & Armour offers a range of insurance and risk management services to businesses and public sector organisations.
Commenting on developments, managing director Matt Donnelly says: “Whilst for many years we have acted for clients with international reach, our partnership in the formal Assurex Global infrastructure will only help deliver further value to our mutual clients.”
Miller is specialist insurance and reinsurance broker operating internationally and at Lloyd’s.
The firm’s head of North American broker business, John Eltham, is confident that the partnership with Assurex will give its retail clients more options for servicing their overseas operations.
Assurex was founded in 1954 and now has 106 brokers across six continents.
The combined annual premium of the network exceeds $29 billion.
