Marsh has responded to the steeply rising demand for specialist insolvency insurance with the establishment of a new practice dedicated to the provision of expert risk and insurance advice for UK-based insolvency practitioners.

Simon Dodd will lead the Insolvency Practice, and brings the experience of having formerly worked for Willis as national insolvency director.

During his more than two decades with Willis, Dodd was tasked with offering advice about risk insurance to insolvency practitioners throughout the country.

Marsh are also taking on former Willis insolvency employees Paul Samme, Julie Cummins, Judith Anderson and Susan Barr.

The new practice will offer a broad range of bespoke products and services, including after-the-event insurance, D&O liability insurance, PI insurance and health and safety audits.

Head of Marsh’s National Corporate business Joe Grogan has warmly welcomed the new team to Marsh, praising Dodd as one of the nation’s foremost insolvency insurance advisers.
