LV= launches image-recognition recruitment campaign

LV= is launching a poster staff recruitment campaign that features the insurer’s existing staff and utilises image-recognition technology.

Job hunters coming across the adverts on bill boards, in bus shelters and in taxis are invited choose the LV= call handler they would like to speak to, by taking a photo of the ad and texting their picture to LV=.

They will then receive a call from their chosen contact.

The mutual’s head of resourcing and development, Stuart Affleck, says: “Using existing employees to tell jobseekers what LV= is all about, and what it’s like to work here, should be a powerful technique to encourage new, talented people to join the LV= team.”

LV= is hiring staff across its UK offices, including its Bournemouth headquarters and sites in Bristol, Croydon and Huddersfield.

Employee communications agency, ThirtyThree, is the creative mind behind the campaign and for each texted photo received, LV= is donating 10p to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
