Regional insurer Cornish Mutual has announced a brace of new inspectors to cope with increased demand for specialist agricultural insurance advice.
Andy Grossey and Joff von Tyszka both joined the firm recently and will enhance its presence in Somerset.
Grossey is based in Ilminster and will be responsible for East Somerset, including Yeovil, Somerton, Langport and Chard and the bulk of the A303 corridor.
He brings a decade and a half of experience of the Somerset insurance sector to the post, as well as the practical knowledge of agriculture earnt during the running of a mixed 80-acre farm.
Von Tyszka is based in Taunton, and will handle West and South West Somerset, including Minehead and Tiverton.
He brings more than a quarter of a century of experience to Cornish Mutual, and has previous experience of working alongside Grossey.
Cornish Mutual now has a four-strong team of inspectors in Somerset, and has intentions to further bolster its presence in the county.
Managing Director Alan Goddard has warmly welcomed the two men and the extensive experience they bring with them to the firm.
