The importance of high quality risk information

Bowring Marsh has commissioned new research which reveals that the quality of risk information presentation is a critical factor in enabling insureds to get the best terms possible from insurers.

The research involved underwriters in seven major global insurance centres and asked them to state the most important considerations when choosing whether to quote for a risk.

The most important factor was the quality of risk presentation by the broker, with second place going to the client’s approach to risk followed by the underwriter’s relationship with the broker.

Bowring Marsh CEO Nick Bacon explained that it was vital to have a high quality of risk presentation to achieve the most competitive terms available.

Bacon added that he was pleased that his firm had a good reputation for the quality of its risk presentation and that Bowring Marsh was dedicated to ensuring the most competitive packages for its clients.
