Heath Lambert secures BSS GI contract
Heath Lambert has won the contract to provide general insurance cover for BSS Group, the industrial and domestic services supplier.
The broker will provide cover for all the group’s commercial insurances including property, transport, and major liabilities such as employers’ liability and public liability.
Heath Lambert’s managing director of clients and development, Alan Pratten, says he is delighted to have won the pitch, which was against stiff competition.
BSS Group’s chief financial officer, Roddy Murray, adds: “We decided to move from our existing brokers to Heath Lambert because the team demonstrated a thoughtful challenge of our risk programme while listening to our requirements and delivered great pricing – we look forward to working with the team.”
In another major contract win last month, Heath Lambert was appointed insurance advisor to Transport Scotland’s borders railway project.
The £235 million plus scheme will provide a link between Newcraighall station in Edinburgh and Tweedbank, which lies 49 km away in the Scottish borders.
