Allianz secures RK Harrison print and engineering contract
Allianz has secured a five-year contract with RK Harrison Insurance Services, to underwrite the latter’s Print Protect and Engineering Protect accounts.
The independent broker has a strong reputation in its chosen sectors because it is endorsed by manufacturing organisations EEF and the British Printing Industries Federation, among others.
Commenting on the award, RK Harrison director, Stuart Rootham, says: “We felt the time was right to tender these schemes and we were really pleased with the interest shown from the market.”
He adds that the insurance needs to be supported by an underwriter with “the strongest possible underwriting appetite and breadth of capability, particularly for larger corporate risks and engineering businesses with challenging product liability exposures”.
In other Allianz news, the insurer has recently launched a free legal disputes service for all its SME customers.
The offering can assist policyholders with contract and professional negligence disputes by offering a free case assessment by a commercial solicitor.
Should the case have merit, the solicitor will go on to act on a “no win, no fee” basis.
