Airflights.co.uk enhances financial protection
Rapidly growing flight consolidator Airflights.co.uk has bolstered the financial security afforded to consumers who arrange flight tickets via the firm.
Should insolvency affect a non-bonded ticket the firm has promised to refund customers and, should they be overseas, arrange for their flight back home.
Sales Manager Colin Gill explained that whilst many clients booking charter flights are protected by the CAA’s ATOL arrangement there are huge numbers who fall outside of government protection schemes due to buying unprotected flight tickets only.
The move will help support customers, many of whom are unaware they are travelling without financial protection.
Gill went on to highlight some of the recent airline collapses, including Globespan and XL, which seriously affected numerous travellers and left them heavily out of pocket.
Under the newly enhanced financial security Airflights.co.uk, travellers arranging tickets through the firm will enjoy peace of mind against such insolvencies.
