Sterling Insurance Company has announced the appointment of James Leigh to the post of regional development manager for the North.

Prior to joining Sterling Leigh worked for PMI Health Group, where he worked as senior commercial consultant.

In his new position Leigh will report directly to Commercial and Personal Lines Director David Sweeney, and be tasked with fostering strong relationships with brokers located in Manchester, Leeds and the North generally.

Leigh will also be responsible for ensuring that the firm continues to offer top class service and products to its selective broker panel.

Sweeney has stated that, prior to his latest appointment, Leigh worked to establish a strong presence in the North West insurance market, with considerable success.

Sweeney went on to say that Leigh’s wealth of experience would prove helpful for the firm as it seeks to seize opportunities and foster good relationships with brokers.
