Crawford & Company keep in touch with Cumbria
Devastating winter floods struck Cumbria in the winter, an event to which Crawford & Company was amongst the first to react.
Since then, the firm has worked hard to maintain contact through a combination of targeted communications and visits to the area.
Crawford & Company organised a trio of flood surgeries in co-operation with the National Flood Forum and Cumbria County Council to take place in Cockermouth (6th April), Keswick (7th April) and Workington (8th April).
Customers attending the events were able to have their concerns addressed and queries about the claims process answered.
UK & Ireland Senior VP and CEO Benedict Burke has expressed the firm’s recognition of the importance of maintaining contact with those in the affected area, and emphasised Crawford & Company’s ongoing commitment to its Cumbrian customers.
According to the Association of British Insurers there were 36,000 claims following the floods, worth a total of £206m.
