Westinsure enjoys good 2009
Westinsure Group has reported that 2009 was amongst its best ever years, with £300m of gross written premiums being written.
In addition, the firm’s member offices passed the 200 mark as 35 new brokers joined the Alliance.
The Group is a large network organisation consisting of independent, community-based insurance brokers, enabling independent brokers to offer top class products that are competitively priced.
Chief Executive Officer Max Hardman has expressed particular delight at the firm achieving such good results during a year that was remarkable for its challenging operating environment.
Hardman also said that Westinsure’s relationships with AXA, Allianz, Groupama, Fortis, LV, MMA & NIG helped it to remain a major player, and forecast that 2010 would see it progress from strength to strength.
In January Westinsure celebrated its 10th anniversary at Bristol, during the Westinsure Expo sponsored by 34 insurance related organisations with over 260 attendees.
