Specialist independent (re)insurance broker Miller has announced the appointment of Jeremy Mander.

Mander joins the broker from Greig Fester, having earlier worked for Greig Fester, and brings with him extensive expertise in and experience of accident and health (A&H), life treaty and retrocession reinsurance.

During his career he has established and kept substantial accounts from London, Europe and the US and brings in-depth experience of the accident and health class, most especially original life warranty products.

At Miller, Mander will be tasked with collaborating with Bob Ikin, Alastair Mole and Michael Van Der Graaf to help foster the broker’s treaty reinsurance accident and health business.

Head of Reinsurance James Geffen has welcomed Mander to the firm and said that his appointment represents a further step in the direction of enhancing Miller’s treaty expertise.
