Guy Carpenter makes senior Argentine appointments

Global risk and reinsurance specialist Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC has announced a pair of senior appointments to its office in Buenos Aires.

Roberto Glogau has been named as the firm’s new country head for Argentina, and is now tasked with fostering business, handling present activities and enhancing relationships with the firm’s Argentine clients.

Glogau is a veteran of the Argentine reinsurance industry, and brings four decades of experience to Guy Carpenter.

He joins the firm from Marsh Argentina, where he served as Energy & Mining Commercial & Placement director.

In his new role Glogau will report directly to Aidan Pope, chief executive officer of Latin America & Caribbean Operations.

Alberto Montepagano joins the firm as a senior broker and will have responsibility for bolstering the relationships Guy Carpenter has with its clients and developing new facultative business.

Montepagano was a senior broker at Marsh Re Argentina prior to joining Guy Carpenter and will be directly responsible to Glogau.
