Lloyd’s named top insurance Superbrand

The reputation of Lloyd’s has been further enhanced with the news that it has been named the top Business Superbrand in the insurance sector.

The firm also achieved a record high in the 2010 Business Superbrands survey, with a ranking of 40th overall.

The highest ever ranking and top spot in the insurance sector are indications of the firm’s strength in terms of brand reliability and quality.

Chief Executive Officer Richard Ward has expressed his pleasure at the firm’s recognition in the Superbrands survey, adding that the firm had come a long way in the last ten years and had successfully negotiated the recession.

Stephen Cheliotis, Chairman of the expert council & CEO, The Centre for Brand Analysis has applauded Lloyd’s achievements in leading the insurance sector and reaching a highest ever overall ranking.
