Giles Insurance Brokers Ltd has invested £500,000 in a new regional ‘super-office’ in Llantrisant.

The opening ceremony at Magden Park, Llantrisant, was attended by Welsh First Minister Carwyn Jones, along with Giles Chief Executive Officer Chris Giles and Regional MD Mike Jones.

The hefty investment is one of the largest Giles has made in recent years and underlines its commitment to and belief in the potential for growth in Wales.

The firm first entered the Welsh market two years ago, and has acquired six Welsh brokers since then to become a major presence in Welsh broking.

The new regional office boasts the latest technology, such as VOIP telephone systems.

The First Minister has expressed delight at the firm’s commitment to Wales and its Welsh staff and wished Giles every success in its future endeavours.

Mike Jones described the firm’s Welsh growth, especially over the last year, as phenomenal, which has helped fuel a growth in jobs as more staff are required to properly service the increasing client base.
