Phil Green has been appointed by Wesleyan Assurance Society, a financial services specialist for professionals, to its non-executive Board of Directors.
Green, who assumes his seat with immediate effect, is also chief executive officer of LIMRA Europe, the world’s biggest insurance association.
In addition to these two roles, he also works as chairman of an international consultancy dedicated to enhancing performance management, training and salesforce distribution.
Earlier in his career he spent the lion’s share of two decades with Sun Life of Canada, and until 2005 was a senior VP with AIG.
Wesleyan Chairman Lowry Maclean has welcomed Green to the firm, expressing delight at his appointment and praising his professional expertise.
Green has stated his own eagerness to get to work helping the firm to realise its ambitions and developing its offering.
