Experienced drivers can now take advantage of a new product from AXA designed to offer competitive and market-leading coverage.
The product, AXA Car Insurance, is intended to cater to the insurance needs of the UK’s 9m experienced drivers who have many years of motoring experience and few accidents/convictions.
Such drivers will be able to get comprehensive coverage at a competitive price.
The new product complements the firm’s other motor insurance offering, with Swiftcover being pitched to younger drivers online and AXA Car Insurance utilising a sophisticated risk profiling structure to provide safer drivers with highly competitive quotes and dedicated claims handlers.
At the end of January, Lovemoney.com announced that Swiftcover was considered the best value for money car insurer for 2010, according to visitors to the website.
Those who have had no claims for eight years or more will receive a 90% no claims discount (compared to an average full discount of 65% from other firms) from AXA Car Insurance, along with £1m of driver injury cover for £34.99 per year and policy administration and claims tracking, enabling policy changes or tracking of a claim’s progression at any time of the day or night.
In addition, courtesy cars will be provided not just in cases of car repair, but also for theft or fire damage.
Marketing Director Tina Shortle explained that the firm had seen a gap in the market for those aged 45-65, and made the new product available by either telephone or the internet to suit the customers’ preference.
