David Vincent has been hired by AXA Insurance to act as the firm’s new head of travel underwriting for the personal lines intermediated business.

Earlier in his career he spent almost a decade with RBS Insurance as part of the product management team working in travel underwriting.

Vincent will be responsible for leadership of personal lines intermediated (PLI) travel underwriting, as well as determining its strategic direction.

He will also collaborate with present and future providers to enhance performance and drum up new business, and will report directly to Neil Mercier, PLI underwriting director.

Vincent has expressed his delight at joining AXA and said he was eager to help create mutual benefits for the firm and its partners.
