AXA Assistance and Complectus launch Lease Guard
AXA Assistance and Complectus Ltd have together created a new end of lease insurance product to cover the costs of refurbishing a returned vehicle, within reasonable wear and tear standards.
Lease Guard provides wider coverage than that offered by most car or van insurance, including scuffs, chips, scratches, small dents, alloy wheels and interior trim.
The new product has been designed specifically for leased vehicles where defects are the responsibility of the person hiring the vehicle.
In addition, Lease Guard offers a tailored return process in order to meet the particular needs of a given lease contract.
AXA Assistance UK Ltd Sales and Marketing Director Rick Ware said it had been designed with leasing companies in mind, as well as vehicle manufacturers, finance companies and fleets.
Complectus’ Managing Director, Peter Powell added that Lease Guard provided a cost effective means to ensuring a smooth end to the leasing process by removing any potential for disagreement over paying for refurbishment work.
