Aviva appoints global media agency
Aviva has appointed ZenithOptimedia as its global media buying, planning and digital agency.
The move follows an extensive review of the insurer’s media supplier arrangements and is aimed at maximising the impact of its media investment around the world.
In addition, it should generate significant cost savings for the group and bringing greater consistency to communications with customers.
The company’s chief marketing officer, Amanda Mackenzie, says: “We’ve created a single global brand – a key step in our business transformation – and now is the time to move to a global media agency.”
She adds: “An integrated, strategic approach to media will amplify our brand around the world.”
As the UK’s biggest insurer, Aviva is currently committed to driving growth in US life and pensions markets.
