Bolt enthusiastic about Lloyd’s job
Tom Bolt has recently been named as Lloyd’s new Performance Management director, a job he is clearly enthused to be doing.
Bolt, who has accrued extensive experience of the insurance sector during his lengthy career, went on to explain that in his new post he works with every business line and collaborates with over 50 managing agents.
During his quarter of a century in the industry he has worked in underwriting, trading insurance derivatives and reinsurance, and managed a Lloyd’s agency for almost 10 years.
He began his career in banking, prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway where he worked for nearly two decades.
Chief Executive Richard Ward has heaped praise upon Bolt’s reputation and track record, and lauded his combination of technical knowledge and commercial experience.
