Insurance broker and risk adviser Marsh has announced the appointment of Julian Macey-Dare as international leader of its Political Risk and Structured Credit Practice.

Macey-Dare will be based in London and tasked with exploiting business opportunities across the world (outside of the US), in addition to supervision of the pre-existing client base’s strategic development.

He will report directly to the head of the Financial and Professional Practice in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Roy White.

Macey-Dare began his career with Marsh, and worked for the firm until 1995.

Since then he has occupied roles with Willis and Jardine Lloyd Thomson, where he worked for a decade.

Global Practice Leader of Marsh’s Political Risk and Trade Credit Group Evan Freely has welcomed Macey-Dare to the firm and stated that his expertise will help the firm’s customers achieve the solutions that best suit their businesses.
