Thompson Heath & Bond bolsters International Treaty platform
Thompson Heath & Bond Limited, the Lloyd’s broking arm of THB, has expanded its International Treaty platform with the appointed of three brokers who will specialise in the Latin American, Caribbean, Middle Eastern and Asia/Pacific territories
Manuel Yañez, Andrew Brignell and Alexander Price have worked together previously (most recently at RFIB Group) focusing primarily on property and casualty treaties and binders.
They are based at THB’s London office and will work within the existing Treaty division, expanding portfolios in their key territories.
Commenting on the development, Thompson Heath & Bond chief executive officer, Steve Matanle, says: “We have identified all of these regions as key to our ongoing international expansion, which makes this acquisition a perfect strategic fit for THB.”
In other THB news, the group recently announced the launch of Cardinus Risk Management, which is being formed from the merger of THB Risk Management – Property Risk Management, and Cardinus, its health and safety consultancy.
The new unit will focus on developing a new brand for the UK and US risk management markets.
