Carole Nash partners Harley-Davidson Financial Services

Carole Nash has secured a three-year partnership with Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS).

The motorcycle insurance specialist will be providing cover for 7,500 existing policyholders who will benefit from upgrades including UK and European breakdown insurance and legal protection of up to £50,000, as standard.

According to Carole Nash chief executive, David Newman, the agreement will give the firm access to Harley-Davidson’s customer base and an “extensive” distribution channel.

HDFS will be writing to policyholders with full details of the change and Carole Nash is setting up a dedicated Harley-Davidson section at its Altrincham headquarters.

During 2009, the insurer expanded into two new areas, launching a quote and buy website targeting the Irish market and developing new products for the motorhome and military vehicle sectors.
