AXA Insurance appoints marketing director
AXA Insurance has announced the appointment of Tina Shortle to the post of marketing director.
In her new role Shortle will formulate and enact the insurer’s marketing activities for its direct and intermediated products.
She is to commence a review of AXA’s marketing activity, and will provide an update regarding overarching marketing strategy once it is complete.
She was a founder member of Swiftcover, and played a pioneering role in the first UK online motor insurance brand.
Shortle was recently marketing director of Swiftcover, and held the same role for AXA’s direct business handling the firm’s household and travel product lines.
Before her time at Swiftcover, she worked for Churchill Insurance with responsibility for marketing consultancy for the firm’s corporate partners.
Chief Executive Philippe Maso has welcomed her appointment, and praised Shortle’s wealth of experience.
