Cornish Mutual to address rural issues at forum
Cornish Mutual, the only general insurance firm of the South West, is hosting a forum near Exeter, at Crealy Adventure Park, focusing upon protecting farms and rural issues.
Cornish Mutual has offices in Exeter and Truro, and is hosting the event to enable its members to exchange experiences of the firm and its services, take advice from some of the firm’s inspectors and put questions directly to Managing Director Alan Goddard.
The insurer will be joined by South West legal firm Stephens Scown for the occasion, and Partner Richard Baker, a specialist in agriculture and diversification, will speak at the forum.
Baker explained that it made sense for the two firms to be present at the forum, as it would enable a more rounded event with those attending able to get advice on both financial and legal aspects of their farms.
