American International Group, Inc. (AIG) has announced that the vice chairman of Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communications, Anastasia Kelly, has resigned from the firm.

The cutting of her base salary prompted her resignation under the term of ‘Good Reason’ as per the Executive Severance Plan.

President and CEO Robert H. Benmosche thanked Kelly for her contribution to the insurer and expressed his gratitude for her dedication in helping the firm recover from the effects of the financial crisis.

Benmosche went on to wish her all the best for the future.

As well as Kelly’s departure, the firm has also said goodbye to the services of the chief compliance and regulatory officer, Suzanne Folsom.

The search is already underway for replacements for the two women.
