Torus appoints UK COO

Tim Fillingham has been named by Torus as UK chief operating officer for Torus UK.

Fillingham’s primary duty will be providing clients and brokers accessing the London and UK markets with top quality service, as well as fostering good relationships with brokers based in the UK.

He was formerly chief marketing officer, but will retain his responsibilities for marketing and corporate communications activities in his new post.

He will report directly to the chief operating officers of Europe and the world, Dermot O’Donohoe and Naveen Anand respectively.

Before joining the firm at the start of 2008 worked for Aon Natural Resources as chairman, and had been at Aon since 1983.

Chief Executive Clive Tobin has said that the key to longterm relationships with both clients and brokers is high quality service, and expressed his confidence in Fillingham’s experience and expertise to excel in his new position.
