The use of Vehicle Index Look-up software by Open GI brokers to enhance data accuracy and achieve time savings has rapidly increased this month.

DVLA information held by Carweb such as vehicle registration, make, model & engine capacity can be automatically retrieved from Open GI systems or via brokers’ websites by using the software.

Data accuracy is bolstered by the Motor Insurance Database (MID), which helps cuts errors and the need for reprints.

Damian Collett, the director of Grove & Dean, one of the latest brokers to take up the software, has welcomed the impact the software has had on the sales team.

Collett went on to say that data input was speeded up, and helped save the firm a good deal of time.

Open GI’s Sales and Marketing director, Simon Hughes, has described vehicle validation as a great tool for brokers, and helps save them, and their customers, time.
