Travelers Insurance has announced that it is to open its first Scottish office in January next year.

The office will cater to the underwriting, risk management and business development needs of the Scottish market, and will be situated in Glasgow.

The firm’s range of property and casualty insurance products will be available to solicitors, architects, accountants and chartered surveyors, and other industries and professions.

Sales and Distribution Assistant Manager Mike Bridge has said that the firm is delighted to be opening its new office, enabling it to work more closely with Scottish policyholders and brokers and to enhance its regional presence.

At present the firm has offices in England and Ireland, in London, Redhill, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Dublin.
