1 Answer broker network signs up L&G
1 Answer Network has signed up Legal & General to provide buildings and home contents insurance cover to its broker members.
The firm is already expanding its relationships with KGM, RSA and LV= broking arm, ABC, and says it is well on target to achieve its 2009 goal of £100 million GWP.
According to managing director Paul Muir: “The network is close to signing further deals with a number of major insurers who are keen to access our growing member base.”
He adds: “Our expansion plans are on track and we are also set to introduce a range of new technological developments that will increase our appeal to members.”
Last week, 1 Answer Network announced that it had secured a deal that gives its members exclusive rates and services from Towergate.
Under the agreement, the network’s brokers can access Towergate’s “Quote and Buy Online” service which offers a wide range of personal and commercial insurance.
Products can be accessed and purchased directly using a “click-through” option on 1 Answer’s portal.
