Groupama is relocating its London headquarters on 16th November when it is leaving offices at Minories (where the lease is due to expire) to take up new premises in nearby America Square.

The French insurer says the move will increase operational efficiencies as it is effectively scaling down its presence in the City and increasing output from its regional centres.

According to corporate services director, Paul Picknett, the firm has taken the opportunity to look at how it can “work smarter”.

As a result, specialist teams from Claims, Legal and Compliance, Marketing, Risk Management, Internal Audit and Accounts have already relocated to Groupama centres in Croydon and Portsmouth.

In addition, some roles are now operating from home with staff working more flexibly on a mobile basis.
