Octagon Insurance chooses Open GI
Recently formed Octagon Insurance Company Limited has chosen Open GI to power its underwriting operation (which began work this month).
The firm is a specialist in private car insurance sourced through Go Compare, and intends to expand into commercial vehicle and household insurance during 2010.
Open GI has been selected by Octagon after an extensive review of the various contenders, with Open GI’s strong reputation for service and delivery and strength in e-commerce helping to secure its selection.
Chris Hill, Octagon’s MD, has stated that Open GI offered the most complete solution of all the software houses Octagon considered, and went on to describe them as extremely supportive in the guidance they had already provided the firm with.
Open GI’s MD, Chris Guillaume, has expressed his confidence in Octagon’s future success and said he was pleased the new firm would be seizing new opportunities by using Open GI’s e-commerce solutions.
Yesterday Open GI was chosen by Swinton Insurance to provide the firm with technology to run its Northern Ireland operations.
