Crawford & Company has announced that Brian Clark has been appointed to the post of chief operating officer for the Continental Europe, Middle East & Africa (CEMEA) region.

He joined the firm two years ago, later becoming senior commercial manager for Europe, Middle East & Africa and Asia Pacific.

Earlier in his career Clark worked for HBOS, and played a critical role in the creation of the ‘Halifax at Home’ service which subsequently became an award-winning service.

Clark will report directly to Charlotte von Krogh, CEMEA chief executive officer, and become responsible for operations within the region.

Von Krogh has welcomed Clark’s appointment and praised his track record, adding that his bilingual talents would prove beneficial for the firm in his new post.
