Aviva launches school sports equipment initiative

Aviva’s Child Health Solutions unit has launched a campaign to provide every school in the UK with an opportunity to receive school sports equipment.

Triple Olympian and former Javelin world record holder, Steve Backley OBE, is promoting the initiative, which gives parent purchasing a Child Health Solutions policy £15 worth of vouchers.

The child’s school can then spend the vouchers at DaviesSports.co.uk, on any of their 8,000 stock items.

There is no limit to the number of vouchers schools can collect and the closing date for the offer extends to July 2011.

Aviva launched its Child Health Solutions business in July of this year, claiming that it offers some of the most comprehensive benefits in the market.

Cover includes in-patient, day-patient and out-patient treatment, dentistry, physiotherapy and speech therapy.

The policy can also provide cash benefits for parents to ease the cost of travel expenses when a child has a stay in hospital.
