Groupama Healthcare enjoyed a good night at the Health Insurance Awards, winning the Best for Customer Service award.

The event, held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, was attended by over 900 healthcare professionals.

Managing Director Laurent Matras has described the success as a fantastic achievement for Groupama’s healthcare team, especially as the winner was selected by a vote of healthcare brokers.

Matras added that the victory over Bupa and Axa was particularly pleasing.

Groupama Healthcare is also popular with customers, yielding a 97% average customer satisfaction rating, and the award, according to Matras, shows the firm’s efforts have not gone unnoticed by brokers.

Earlier in the month Groupama Healthcare won the 2009 Cover Excellence Award for Best Group PMI Provider.
