Aon has announced the appointment of John Bayeux to the role of managing director of Aon Risk Services.

Bayeux brings with him decades of industry experience and during his lengthy career in financial services has operated as both a risk manager and insurance broker.

Before joining Aon in August he worked for Willis as an executive VP.

Earlier in his career he spent 14 years with Aon Risk Services, latterly as MD of the Financial Institutions Practice.

In his new post he will work with other firms, financial institutions markets and clients to develop coverage to address exposures that have been created by the financial crisis.

Eric Andersen, CEO of Aon Risk Services US Retail, has expressed the firm’s excitement at the appointment, and warmly welcomed Bayeux back to Aon.
