Keoghs has announced it is bolstering its Counter-Fraud Services (CFS) division with the appointment of Ted Sheils as a partner.

Sheils formerly led the Manchester fraud team with legal firm Weightmans, and specialised in the investigation of fraud rings.

In his new post he will be responsible for dealing with complex and high value claims for large UK insurance companies.

Complex Fraud Director Stratos Gatzouris has welcomed Sheils’ appointment and the specialist technical expertise he will bring to Keoghs.

Sheils has expressed his excitement at joining the firm, in particular his pleasure at joining the complex fraud team which provides vital assistance to the industry in its efforts to combat fraud.
