LIU forms new Civil Construction team
Liberty International Underwriters Europe (LIU Europe) has made a brace of appointments to help drive a new civil construction risks product line.
Richard Williams becomes VP of Civil Construction, backed up by Paul Hampshire as Assistant VP.
Williams has spent nearly two decades in the London insurance market, most recently working for a major global reinsurance firm as the director of its engineering and construction insurance unit.
Hampshire was formerly International director with ARCADIS AYH in the Hague, and earlier in his career managed crucial aspects of the Terminal 5 development, Euro Disney and Waterloo projects.
Both men are to be based in London and will write a range of civil infrastructure business to augment LIU’s present product range.
In addition to this the pair will be tasked with looking for projects around that world that are well-managed with regards to risk.
LIU Europe CEO Sean Rocks has welcomed the two appointments and praised their exceptional experience and expertise.
