Aviva to promote BIBA members in TV campaign
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has announced that its online “find a BIBA broker” facility is to feature in Aviva’s next advertising push.
The TV campaign, which begins in October, will encourage commercial customers to contact their local broker for advice, through an Aviva branded version of the BIBA search facility.
BIBA is therefore urging all its members to ensure that their contact details and product offerings are up to date, according to its website, as this should maximise the number of resultant new business opportunities.
The Association’s chief executive, Eric Galbraith, says: “We are delighted to be working with Aviva on this fantastic opportunity for members.”
Aviva’s head of corporate sales & marketing, Brian Spinks, adds: “Aviva’s core commercial insurance strategy is to support brokers and by working with BIBA we are providing the UK’s businesses with the optimum broker search facility.”
BIBA’s membership list currently extends to 1,700 regulated firms.
