Helphire loses AA referrals
Helphire has lost the referral contracts it held with the AA and Saga, leaving an 11% dent in its turnover.
The news came as an added blow to the company after it reported it was hit with £82 million of one-off charges in the six months to 30 June.
Despite the gloomy reports, shares in the firm rose 2p to 36.5p after the company announced renewed contracts with two of its clients.
Helphire said talks with the AA and Saga are ongoing, and that it expects to do other business with the two firms.
Earlier this year, Helphire appointed a new senior management team.
